Ms. Jennifer " JJ" Johnson joined Columbia Southern University in 2025 as the Senior International Officer and Director of International Relations. In this role, she leads the development and execution of the university's first international student recruitment strategy. A retired U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, JJ brings nearly 25 years of distinguished service marked by proven leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management. She has successfully led teams of up to 200 in dynamic, fast-paced environments, consistently delivering measurable results. Her expertise spans formulating and implementing strategic plans, aligning resources to meet mission objectives, and fostering strong connections between vision, strategy, and execution. At CSU, Jennifer leverages her extensive leadership experience to cultivate global education partnerships, supporting the university's commitment to a "Global Learning, Lifelong Connections" philosophy. She holds a Master of Education with a concentration in Teaching and Learning and a Master of Human Services with a concentration in Crisis and Trauma Counseling, both from Liberty University.
