Faryal Atif
I am a higher education professional, researcher, and doctoral scholar in Educational Leadership with educational and professional experiences spanning Pakistan, Malaysia, and the United States. My career has included work in education and academic coordination in Malaysia and in U.S. higher education across student engagement and leadership, residential life, alumni relations, international education, and community engagement. These experiences across different educational and cultural contexts have shaped my commitment to creating meaningful connections that foster student success, belonging, and global learning. As a scholar of international education, my research focuses on the internationalization of higher education, comprehensive internationalization, and strategic partnerships, particularly how institutions can leverage domestic and cross-sector partnerships to create sustainable and accessible opportunities for global engagement. I am especially interested in connecting internationalization with student success, workforce development, community engagement, and institutional partnerships.
